Wabi-Kanso
We build slowly, with care shaping homes that feel part of Curaçao, not placed on top of it.
We choose:
- Natural light over square meters.
- Privacy over density.
- Local wisdom over imported trends.
We don’t believe in housing products. We believe in places that feel like they belong.
Wabi-Kanso isn’t just how we build. It’s why we build at all.
Designed to Flow with Nature
Experience Seamless Indoor–Outdoor Living
Ka-Dushi homes are crafted to breathe with Curaçao’s light and breeze.
Wide glass doors dissolve the line between indoors and out extending your living space into private gardens, shaded patios, and the rhythm of nature.

Here, nature isn’t a view. It’s a way of life.
Rooted in Curaçao. Built on 30 Years of Craft
Wabi-Kanso was founded by Joalten Antonia, a Curaçaoan developer raised in the rhythm of construction.
For over three decades, he has worked with his hands, his family, and his community learning that good building is never rushed. It comes from patience, precision, and respect for place.
That same craft now shapes every detail of Ka-Dushi Retreat.
A Vision of Living That Lasts
Curaçao is more than a destination. It’s a home, an ecosystem, and a culture to be honored.
At Wabi-Kanso, sustainability means more than solar panels or water systems it means building slowly, with care, so that every home feels timeless, and every choice respects the island’s future.
From Ka-Dushi Retreat to the projects that will follow, our vision is simple:
modern living, rooted in nature and culture.
Ka-Dushi: A Home That Belongs
In Papiamentu, “Kas” means more than house, it means home, a place of comfort and belonging. “Dushi” is the warmth of island life: sweet, good, beloved.
Together, Ka-Dushi is a name that holds both simplicity and joy, a reminder that these homes are more than concrete and walls. They are spaces to feel at ease, to rest, and to belong.
Inspired by Curaçao’s native cactus, Ka-Dushi also speaks of resilience, protection, and life that thrives in balance with nature.
Coming Soon: Senti-Bibu
Rooted in the resilience of Curaçao’s aloe plant, Senti-Bibu will be our next retreat, a place of light, openness, and coastal breeze.
Set along Curaçao’s northern coast, it will invite light, breeze, and openness into everyday living, carrying the same Wabi-Kanso spirit of simplicity, care, and belonging.
Ka-Dushi is the beginning.
Senti-Bibu is the next chapter.

Banda Bou: Curaçao’s Quiet North
Ka-Dushi is set in Banda Bou, one of Curaçao’s last untouched regions. Here, cliffs meet calm waters, and silence still speaks.
From Barber’s local markets to Christoffel National Park, life here follows a slower rhythm, where nature and community are still close at hand.

Banda Bou is not just a location. It is the soul of Curaçao that still feels whole.
